Alsace offers everything a wine & food lover desires, beautiful vineyards, charming wine villages, great wines and extraordinary cuisine. Outside of Paris, this region contains the highest concentration of Michelin-starred restuarants anywhere. As you wander through the towns & villages you will note that the Alsatian heritage is first & foremost apparent through its architecture: traditional half-timbered houses, Romaneque chapels, the Gothic cathedrals and fortified townships. The best way to explore the greatest of Alsatian winemakers is by following the "route des vins", a slow path to paradise.
